How do you mean sound awful? Wind noise?

I had the Bosch ones.
They cleared the screen pretty well but every time they changed direction it was like thump, thump, - thump, thump, lol.
Binned them after a month and got the genuine ones which were only a fiver more. Night out worth of money wasted!

Now whisper quiet and a clean sweep.
No rain x on screen. Just normal washing.

I didn't know about the issues people have had with Bosch ones before I ordered them from EPC the other day, they are due to arrive today!

I've had Bosch ones for years and never had any problems, so hope the ones I get are OK. I'm only replacing the current ones because they keep squeaking all the time lol.

Ive had bosch ones on other cars before and not had any trouble, the ones on now wipe the water away fine but drivers side is juddering on the way down n its doing my head in,lol

Interesting people are having issues with Bosch blades...

The wiper system used on the 1P Leon and 5P Altea/Toledo was actually designed by Bosch.. The OEM blades as supplied on the car from new would have been made by Bosch..

The only issues I had with Bosch was that they didn't last long at mine. I've had the cheaper valeo and they've lasted longer.

Having auto wipers drastically reduces the life of the blades, since day one my Bosch have been s**t. The left won't wipe en route to its housing just smudges, drivers side not so bad, they need cleaned every few days. Only car iv had a problem with I must admit.

Ordered the Bosch of wiperblades.co.uk, now fitted and they work a treat. Had some heavy rain recently and they are a vast improvement. No noise complains like from me... Been travelling at 70+mph and clears the whole screen.

Yeah just the front mate, there was a good downpour today so they had a good test. Assumed to admit it but had a wee semi starting when they cleared with no smears haha!!
