Hi Folks,
So the other day driving back from a great weekend away, some idiot was swerving all over the road and decided to smack my wing mirror completely obliterating it and drove off.

I am now hunting for a full replacement drivers side wing mirror unit, glass included and also the instructions on how to fit the new one. The entire casing and mirror are destroyed but for some miracle the electrics still work as the remaining mirror folds and the remaining mirror heats up.

I apologise if this has been discussed many times if so please can someone point me in the right direction? i believe i will need to take the door card off and attack it from the inside.

Currently driving a Seat Leon Mk2 2005 TDi Sport (i believe this is the 1p1 model) and the wing mirror is the power folding heated mirror.

Needless to say i was pretty annoyed and every time i look at it, it still winds me up.

Cheers for your help in advanced.

Cheers for the response, I have noticed a lot of the facelift mirrors around. Seat dealer wanted £141 for the entire mirror assembly. I did see a website that sold after market mirrors but I don't know how good they are so may just either look at facelift ones or as you say hunt the crap yards.

I'm new you see so don't understand. Plus this app is confusing me. Cheers for the link.
