I have just picked up a 69 plate seat cupra 300 estate. Wing mirrors fold on the switch but should they fold on the key fob ? I have tried the holding the lock button, double pressing and hold.
Am I missing something?
Picture for attention...

They should fold with hold, and windows will close too. I’ve coded my mirrors to fold with the first lock press using OBD11.

My cupra had the folding mirrors ticked, and they always folded in using the fob.
Since it's been in the garage and the battery disconnected, they no longer fold in using the fob,the confirmation is still ticked, and they fold in whilst operating inside the car, what's going on?

Reset your window auto function, the wing mirrors folding from the fob is part of the comfort close function and after the battery is disconnected the comfort function needs resetting.

Press button to bring drivers window all the way down and after it stops, release and press the button again for a couple seconds.

Do the same for up, bring drivers window all the way up and after it stops, release and press the up again for a couple seconds.

Do the same for all windows one at a time. Once the auto function works on all windows your mirrors should start working again. it may take a few tries.

Thanks @ViperSlider , you just reminded me to do this as I discovered they weren't working after it's service, so guess they'd forgotten to reset it!

Funnily enough, the volume display had vanished from the Virtual Cockpit too, but that's working again after resetting the windows, go figure!

Cheers,

Nick
