Wing Mirrors

The laquer on my mirrors has started to flake and it looks crap, so have maneged to find another pair in the local scrappies the smae colour but they are of the electric type. Do the backs come off the mirrors? (the coloured bit) just before I go removing them

Yep, they come off. From memory I think they just prise off - but I can't be 100% on that.

100% sure they do . i recently got a kiwi set , and had to remove the back to paint em .

i painted my non color-coded ones red on my old ibiza.

take a good yank to get off mind you

if they are electric... is it not worth trying to wire them in? Go back the following week and nick the switch system and have a bash at retrofitting them!!

Failing that they do pop off from what I can tell with my ones!!
