how easy is it to get the wing mirror covers of.any tips

just the covers not the whole unit

someone has hit my passenger mirror, not it just kinda sits on the mirror, it just looks like its clipped into place though

they clip on. not entirely sure how to get it off tho. only removed mine once it was already broken.
