Wingbars - Thule Wingbar Evo 108 vs 118 cm

Hi, I’m looking to buy wingbars for my Formentor and my choice would be Thule Wingbar Evo. But I don’t know which length should I choose. I’ve read on one site that 108 cm should be enough but in the shop they told me that it could be too short and i should take 118 cm.
Does anyone have them and can help?
I wanted to get the shorter ones but don’t know if they will fit now.

I have the wingbar evo edge and the bars are only 77cm wide as the footpack takes up a lot more space. I think they look better though as they are more low profile

These are the 118cm bars, it might be tight at the front with 108cm.
