i really dont want to drive my car in the winter but luckily its always garaged and only driven to work.
what do you guys use in the winter?? Is there such thing as a winter wax for when salt goes on the roads??
thanks

two options really... you either stick to the same wax as normal but make sure the car is washed and waxed more frequently or you go for a hard wearing wax / sealant.

something like Collinite 476s or FinishKare F100p etc

ok mate thanks. i think im going to go for the collinite stuff:D

i havent used the FinishKare so cant give an accurate opinion on it unfortunately. I have used Colli 476s though and its a very easy to use product which lasts for months and gives a nice finish.

yeah you can...

a lot of people tend to opt for specific wheel wax or sealant as its designed to be a bit more durable - the focus is on durability rather than looks, lets face it, 9 out of 10 wheels look ok when clean so you dont need half the ingredients that make paint look glossy etc in there.

a normal wax will work fine on wheels but wont last as long as a dedicated product. I use Chemical Guys wheel guard but Poorboys wheel sealant is popular as well.
