Wiper Motor On Its Way Out???

Noticed last week that if I flick the wiper to go on once (up a flick), it doesn't come all the way back down. Tried a few times, and 3 times in a row, stopped in the same position. But if i put it onto full it works fine, and even on intermitent it works fine, just not when i give it a quick flick. I noticed that if i had it on full or intermitent for a bitm then switched it off and gave it a flick when I needed it, it started working fine

However, today on intermitent it wasn't working fine, so gave it a blast on full for a few wipes, switched back to intermitent, and it was fine (but a quick flick wasn't).

Ideas???

If it's the motor on its way out, how much is a new one? Are they easy to replace? And where are they located in the engine bay???

I had a sort of problem like this with my wipers but all it was was that the garage that sorted out my clutch had not put the wiper back on properly just a suggestion although it might not apply might be something to try.
