With the new CUPRA Raval arriving, we want to hear from the SEATCUPRA.net community.

Would you consider switching from your SEAT to an electric CUPRA Raval? What would make you consider making the move, and what might hold you back?

Whether you drive an Ibiza, Arona, Leon, Ateca etc we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Biased or not, the Raval is an absolutely cracking little motor that I'd 100% consider buying in the future.

I’m a guy who has had a few Cupras over the years, 4 to be exact.
2 litre combustion engine kind and I have bought one. The VZ model in white. ETA is November. Decided to make the jump to electric.
Looks a great wee car.

The reviews and user feedback has been overhelmingly positive for it this far, I'm usually the guy who wants to know everything about the car before buying both pros and cons but I find very little criticism no matter where I look... usually the negative aspects are software bugs which is pretty normal with any new launch and the interior design might be a bit too youthful and playful for some. When it comes to driving it seems to impress just about everyone. It definitely helps the Raval's case that there hasn't been a compact driving focused EV with such a practicality and range, it's good enough as a primary car too if you don't frequently drive long trips perhaps.

I have moved from an Ibiza to a Raval and is a cracking car, efficiency helps range and weight has helped make it quite an agile EV - both the biggest issues with EV's. EV ownership only really make sense when you can charge at home as public chargers are still too expensive IMO. Raval will steal sales from the Ibiza and Arona. Its biggest challenge is from within with the I.D. Polo which is more conservative than the Raval overall.

Four CUPRA's is a pretty strong endorsement! Going from the 2.0-litre to the Raval is quite a change, but it sounds like you’re excited for it.

The white VZ should look great too. November will come around quickly - will be interesting to hear how you find the switch to electric once you’ve had some time with it. Let us know!

It does seem like the Raval is getting a lot of praise for how it drives, while still offering the practicality and range to make it usable as an everyday car. The software niggles are probably something we’ll see improve as the car matures too.

It’ll be interesting to see how the feedback develops once more owners have had theirs for a few months and start putting some serious miles on them.

How are you finding the Raval compared with your Ibiza so far, particularly in terms of the driving experience?

I loved my Ibiza I had a 2024 Xcellence Lux DSG which had a slight lag when pulling off from roundabouts which the Raval being an EV does not have. Miss the thumb from the three cylinder engine though and the Ibiza does feel lighter on its feet. The Raval is very smooth and quiet - being the 208 Bhp version lots of overtaking punch and performance but also quite docile when you just want to pootle along. Raval overall build quality also feels a step up as well over the Ibiza.
