Ref Insurance,

Cupra is the same everywhere,
I'm 20 years old with 2 years NCB, Boc is just over £1500, my Leon FR was £1300, my Cupra....

£438 :)
Cheaper then the Zetec S for me :)
That's with Admiral, give them a try :)

Danny.

why not, i would

Why would you. Yeah the front looks nice, but you don't have the rest of the car to go with it.

Maybe if the boc hadn't come out and you randomly thought yeah i'll do that then fair play. But what would you do if someone asked you a question about a boc? and you go, oh its not a boc, its a SE Sport or something.

I'm sure the persons response would be, so why do you have the boc front?

Answer...done. :p

The cupra insurance is 100% a mistake on the National Insurance Database (which all companies use as a guide). Its cheaper to insure than a TSI FR!! So yeah go for it but be careful as it only takes a few people to crash for them to check things and bang next year (if your young) your insurance could more than double (even if it easn't you that crashed)!

My previous car was a MK6 fiesta zetecs i bought from new.....I have to say I loved that car fantastic handling and build quality reliable the only thing it lacked was a bit of power So after I built up my NCB I got myself a cupra :) and I have never looked back (AMAZING CAR!!!)! oh and my fiesta retained 62% of its value after 3 and a half years :p I did get an amazing deal tho

I put a deposit on a cupra, its just arrived going to sign papers on monday! my insurance is going to be with admiral, last year mine was exactly the same, 800 quid, where a boc was 1600. but this year ive checked its went up to 1200! luckly im going on a multi car policy with my dad and my brother, so it still under 1000 :) im 20 with 3 and half years driving and 2 year ncb.. i cant wait to get mine! go for it!!!!

I'm paying little over 850 for my boc with 1 year ncb at 20. Strange though as when i just selected bocanegra rather than typing in the number plate to find the car automatically it was well over the 1k mark...

699 What got from admiral for my cupra and it was 1154 for my 58 sport so made sure I payed up in full that's with me with 6 points and 2 ncb also gf with 1 year driving we both 23

£440 Full comp 23 with 4 NCB with admiral multi car ;)

Dont get the fiesta, everyone has them!! Especially in white! Dont get me wrong, they do look nice but not as nice and as rare as cupras are..

The cupra would be easy to mod and quicker standard.

there are loads about, i dont think i can honestly say iv ever seen a cupra where i live, so it will deffo be rare. and the fact its the quickest standard and not the most expensive is very appealing

2.0 TDI will be pick of the bunch for performance. Remap and an extra 40BHP and a lot of torque will make it quicker than the cupra petrol and cheaper to insure.

A remapped Diesel may equal a standard petrol but it wouldn't get near a remapped cupra on track or on the quarter mile (drivers aside).

I am 19 and get the same insurance results, the fr is about 50% more expensive than the cupra, whilst the boc is pretty much double.

How are you getting such a cheap quote on the cupra with 0 nc

I am in exactly the same situation due to being a named driver not a policy holder for the last 2 years and 6 months, and the cheapest I can get is £1700 with admirable,

the price of £1700 is after i add two named drivers to the policy one being my gran, the other my dad, before i put them on it I was touching the £2600 mark,

I think the insurance on the cupra is insane, its cheaper than I can get on my 59 plate 1.2 corsa sxi,

going back to the various car's you've looked at i really think its a no brainer.

Luke.

Admiral WILL take into account that you have been a named drive on other policies.
As long as you have 2 years on another policy, they will contact that insurance company and it will count as no claims :)
Just give them a call mate, very helpful :)
