Hi All

My Rear Right Door Lock is playing up so I'm about to order the Actuator Mechanism from eBay.

The issue I have is TPS have told me that the correct part number for my 2011 Seat Leon FR+ CR170 is 1P0839016D, but eBay compatibility list say that this part is the incorrect & that is should be 1P0839016 (same but without a "D" on the end).

I was going to order the one TPS said as you'd think they would know the right part number but when I search for that one (1P0839016D) in the forum there were zero results, where as when I search for the non "D" one (1P0839016) there were lots of forum posts with this in. So now I think TPS might have got it wrong.

Does anyone know which one is the correct part?

Can you not pop the door card off and see the part number on the mechanism?

There's a chance the D part is just the revised version?

Tbh I'm not sure if getting to it is a easy job or not on the Leon, do you know?

My mate who is mechanic has offered to fit it for me (he was the one who checked with TPS).

They are functionally the same but have a different electrical connector so are not directly interchangeable.

According to the parts drawings and wiring diagrams;
1P0839016 is used up to November 2010 and has an 8 pin connector arranged in 2 rows (though only 7 pins physically present I think).
1P0839016D is used from November 2010 and has a 6 pin connector in a single row.

Ah I see, that explained why they have said mine is the "D" one, as my car is 2011.

Thanks for the info & help!
