So you're telling me you had a V8 Charger and now have a 1.4 Leon?
I know Seat is a great car manufacurer, but come on!!

Yea, dont remind me. I was so depressed when I sold that to come over here. Still am. Cant afford that kind of car over here. Listen to this, it was CHEAPER to put petrol in the V8 Charger in america and TONS cheaper to insure. My insurance on my V8 Charger in america was $75 a month (40quid to you) and insurance on my 1.4Leon is 880gbp a year!!!

Don't even talk to me about insurance prices.
This is the one reason why I'd want to live in the US - cheap fuel and insurance.

I'm only 17 so I'm forking out £2600 for this first year which will then halve by next year provided I don't crash!

Been on the job hunt aswell so can't even fuel the car - the parents are giving me £10 each Saturday until I get one, which gives me next to no petrol.

:(

rofl that's hilarious :D
The same goes for Jenson Button (Clarkson once said it on TopGear), the car's designers go to extreme lengths trying to make the car as light as possible, making it of exotic materials... then the driver turns up to drive it with a beard.

Think of the weight of that beard! It has to be braked, accelerated and turned throughout a lap, could cost 0.05 of a second a lap! ;)

Nice one man, good present then!! lol are you serious? I was thinking the same thing! Not gonna debadge but did want to get some blue interior lighting aswell as bluesidelights. New alloys probably after a few years but intrrestingly enough I thought that I might paint them black In the meantime lol
Might also be worteh getting some laquer and paintin brakucaleipers - I was thinking of painting mine blue. Anyway, show us updates with pics mate!

Ok, firstly FFS.
I wrote a whole bunch of stuff and the page froze when I submitted it, so here's attempt no. 2.

Right.
Update because I haven't done anything in a while!
Since the last posts on this site I have applied two SCN stickers to the rear window (small white ones, externally) and two Alpine ones on the rear side windows above the Ripspeed ones.

For some reason I applied the Alpine stickers in the pissing rain, so it was a rushed job which resulted in one sticker being about 1cm or more above where I wanted to place it, so in my opinion it looks crappy.

Fail number two comes in the form of one of the SCN stickers coming off after I sponged over it with some Auto Glym Car Shampoo and water, which made me very angry. The other sticker is still on but is looser...

A couple of pics at a mates house...

Done on my phone so apologies if quality is crap.

When I have a job and can afford to, I'll probably buy two more small SCN stickers but with internal application to put in the same place in the rear window, and might eventually invest in a new black sunstrip and then buy a large SCN sticker in blue to put on it, but haven't decided on that yet.

Also, dad might be able to get my rear bumper cut and the exhaust cut a bit to make it straight in order to put an exhaust tip or muffler on the end so that it is visible, because as it stands you cannot see the exhaust and I love being able to see a fat exhaust under cars!

Watch this space.

SCN sticker looks good over there. Seems your a fan of stickers... I have a few little Spanish flag stickers lying about if you want one.

Instead of cutting the bottom you can buy a new black valiance (the black plastic along the bottom of rear bumper) with a ready made cut out for about 13£ :)

Just at the Seat dealers mate, will probably have to order it

Could also be cheeky on here and ask someone who has swapped their bumper for a new one ;) worth a try

Liking the stickers mate :) look great. I wish I had bought a white SCN sticker, mine's black, you can only see it when i brake haha

I think you should de-badge the back buddy (and possibly put faceilft badges on) maybe i'm just picky :p

Thanks man, will definately look into that.
Btw loved those blue 16" sport alloys you had, looked beautiful.

Cheer mate, still got them!! Although wrapped up under the car port, they need balancing but so do the wheels currently on...might dig the blue ones out sometime
