Ok so I have some more pics and a possible part number :D It now looks as if I can access the 2 bolts to the rear and the screws to the front to remove this completely, won't get a chance now will the weekend. Hope these provide some insight of how the armrest is fitted.

The part number may only relate to the cover I removed but it could still provide a reference to held a dealer find the other parts/

Wow, thanks for ripping your new car apart for me :)

That is ideal. I can clearly see how it all plugs together. I fear that part number will be for the back plastic cover but it gives me something to go on.

I'll be back after some serious googling.

Hopefully that supplier will the go to place, I’ll get a chance Saturday to remove the actual armrest, I guess it may have to be ordered as separate pieces, I’d hope the armrest and screws were one part and the cover the other?

I believe that is the case.

Part Number for the plastic cover
Part Number for the arm rest body
Part Number for the leather bit on top.

I hope that's the case anyway.

I really appreciate you taking the time to do this for me.

Erk. Ex VAT.

Total including VAT would be roughly £335 excluding shipping.

All looks good to me, not sure about the clip looks to me if only used for the cover for centre console which you’ll already have, At £285 I’d wonder if it was worth approaching a dealer now the part no’s are known they may be able to source as a kit??

I wonder why there are so many different versions.

Prices in PLN, usually it is possible to get about 15% discount from dealer.

LI8 is black
XU2 is tan

Not sure about the A or B bit though.

I’ll give the dealer the part number and see if he can get it. If not, I’ll order from that online site.

Dealer said he can order the parts based on the part number.

He has to order them from Spain, so they will take a while to arrive, but ordered all the same.

The price was very similar. Roughly £300 for the armrest + necessary bits.

A lot of hassle, but hopefully saves someone else a lot of work should they want an armrest :)

Good to hear I keep my cars 4-5 years so armrest cost is minimal for the comfort if I go for the Ibiza, unless of course I can persuade my wife to give hers up and I'll swap hers for the little storage tray.

You can always buy the car in a normal country :D

Almost everywhere you can spec FR with or without the armrest.
