Hello

I have a cupra tdi, and would like to get it chipped

My current insurance, Elephant wont touch it if its chipped.

Any idea on who would / could insure a chipped leon?

Any ideas what extra it costs for a chipped car?

Thanks lots

Try Greenlight... they're a forum sponsor, and seem to be cheap. They do insure most mods for no extra cost.

As I'm sure you're aware, you're better off declaring these things. I used to work for a loss adjusters and insurers will do anything to make sure they can get out of not paying you. There argument is that they accept you on a certain risk level and if you don't disclose then you have broken the terms.

Have a look in the Insurance section on the forum.

But Greenlight seem to be highly recommended.

Current favourite for me come renewal/modding time.

I am with Adrian Flux, My premium went up about £100 after getting my Cupra R remapped with a load of other mods declared, they are very competitive and dont seem to mind whatever mods I do to my car, whenever I get a new mod I just call them and tell them. They never seem to want any more money for newer mods :D
