Cheers badger :)

No i'm not doing it myself, I know nothing about mapping unfortunately :(

A guy on the skoda forums is renowned for doing great custom remaps for the pd130 for a fraction of the cost of a custom map at a garage so i'm doing it via him.

Just have to do the logs myself and send them off to him to tinker with.

Remote Mapping :)

Have you gone for a Galletto 1260 or KWP2000 eBay special?

I've got the Galletto cable for mapping out my EGR, sturdy but be careful...

Got a few pics from fitting the H&R rarb the other day.

The clamps

Looking a tad rusty :/

Due to the sizes you have to rachet strap the bar a bit to get it to fit in the rear beam. I have no idea how to use a ratchet strap haha

All on!

Unfortunately the bolts supplied with the clamps weren't long enough for my rear beam so I had to get some new ones for 80p haha

First impressions are, it feels incredible. So much more planted and the car goes where I want it now. Experienced my first bit of controlled lift off oversteer today too which was fun haha. Barely any body roll and no more understeer.

I'm currently in the process of mapping the car too, just sending lots of logs back and forth to the mapper to get it perficckkk!

Looks like a firmer set-up! Guess you got this from the group buy on the otherside?

The way it's attached to the rear beam looks abit, cheap? Or is it just the photos?

Haha it is a little bit pikey-ish and I thought the same, but its bushed not just strapped on for dear life.

Also here is a little spanner I made today to adjust my vnt actuator length, look how cute it is haha I want to marry it!!

Kind of mate! Had the first few versions sent to me but had to alter my actuator length on my turbo hence the spanner.

Got a new version to upload tomorrow but will be in the evening!

I fitted some meyles HD drop links for the front arbs as mine looked a little past their best, and when removing them this confirmed that, the balls just moved so freely in their sockets with no resistance what so ever. Yet to go for a drive though.

These are them!

Old rusty things.

11782316985_bef3783873_b.jpg

I discovered some delicious CV boot grease that's new, looks like it's split the boot when i've been testing out the RARB :( haha

Comparison of the two. The new ball + socket are so so stiff!

11782746824_ffd4bab688_b.jpg

And new ones all on. Took about 30 mins all in all!

It was this one mate

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-IBIZ...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c2e7acff0

So after realising I had a boost leak I set on to create some kind of silicone tubing method to connect to the EGR delete.

Boost leak is here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQbZ-PTb9jw

This is the 90° tubing!

And the original boost pipe that uses VAG connectors that leak like mad. So I decided to see if I could use the little bead around the boost pipe to hold the silicone pipe on but would require me to chop it down a bit.

Which eventually left me with this!

I tidied it up with a file after those pics. Then it's going on like this.

Wala!

12133510575_555ace915f_b.jpg

I could do with chopping the silicone down a bit more but it's okay for now, wanted to play it safe!

Very impressive! Doing pretty much same stuff youve done right now with mine as the turbo has gone, unfortunately my budget wont stretch to a FMIC atm.

Did you fit the clutch and flywheel yourself? how did you find it? (looking at getting standard DMF and clutch kit from darkside)

What do you mean which forum?

Don't really have many updates tbh guys.

Well it's kind of on the way to being mapped, still not perfect but we're getting there!!

It feels great in third gear and had traction light on a few times in that gear.

Just fitted some powerflex take off console bushes today, didn't take long at all! Can't wait to try them soon :)
