Golf Mirror for Leon

I've been hunting for a replacement used driver's door mirror for a Mk 1 Leon (2001) but without success so far. But the 2001 Golg mirror looks the same and I've located a supplier. Is it the same or not useable?

The mk 4 golf mirror is exactly the same as the leon mirror. You should be able the use it.

well, its the same as the pre-facelift model, not the later teardrop shape (obviously, if you're looking!) Think the VW glass is a different colour
