It's a straight fit if you buy an 80mm one. You could do with something to hold it in place as mentioned above, I'm still using the tie-wrap method at the moment and it's fine until I sort something a bit more permanent.
I'm interested in this myself. The bottom O/D 175mm but I don't know the dimentions of the shield.
The thing about the Neuspeed filter is that it has about a 20-degree bend on the neck of it so fits perfectly, I am not sure if the Jetex does.
Just as a temporary measure I've tie wrapped the end of the filter to the battery cover.
Not the best pics but there you go, it's actually quite solid but I intend to extend the section
after the MAF to centralize the filter and bring it closer to the wing so it'll do for now.
Right, the bits for the extention came in the week and here's the results.
The Coupler is from Forge, the joiner is off eBay and the clips were from work.
Still on tie wraps at the moment but I'll sort something more permanent next week.
I was thinking maybe a 12mm bolt through a short piece of 12mm rubber hose to go
through the OEM bracket that the tie wraps are fastened to, a bit like on the original
airbox.
Another log, although as well as fitting the extention the main reason for the improvement is that I've had my ECU re-flashed with the latest version of C-C phase 1 as my engine was failing to reach maximum load.
I used blocks 003 and 115 because I was especially interested in Mass Air Flow and Boost.
