Isn't clear to me why I have a Lane Change Assistant Right (3C) module fitted on my 2021 vehicle, plus entries for Lane_change_support "enabled" in multiple areas including in Adaptive Cruise Control (13).

Was it always planned but just not completed by the time my car reached the end of the production line?

Driver Assistance (A5)
MQB MFK 3.0
Software Number: 5WA980653A
Software version: 3129

Feel like the hardware might be there, especially with the 3C module fitted, but it's talking to software that doesn't exist in A5 module.

So what you're saying is, I need to have a mysterious accident with my rear camera under warranty :D

j/k

Well I did ask Snows to quote me about retrofitting the 360 cameras.

Hi folks, my 2023 Formentor is equipped with a new gorgeous feature which is lane change assist system (I’m running software 1900.). I have been testing that a lot today during a long trip and I must say that I’m very satisfied with it. Some other comments were describing that as very slow and useless, nothing is less true than that. The system works flawlessly with two or three lanes in the majority of situations.
If anybody is interested, I can share some thoughts regarding. Spoiler: it works beautifully, but it can be extremely dangerous if not used in the proper way.
Can I ask how did you do that?

I just bought my Cupra Formentor vehicle and just joined you. I would like to ask a few questions and get help.

I want to have an advanced driving package (blind spot detection system, rear cross traffic warning, exit warning), beatsound sound system and 360 degree camera installed on my car.

Is there anyone who has done these things I mentioned? Is it possible to add these to the vehicle later? If possible, can you tell me how it was made and what original parts were used? I would like your support from experienced people like you in this regard.

Blind spot/assist /exit warning possible but need new door panels iff you want oem ( https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/blind-spot-detection.473190/page-3#post-5047567) . The lights are not factory in the doorpanels.

360 never seen on Leon

Beats not possible as far as i now because no dataset availible and also dont do it. Beats have not that nice sound as non beats systems
Beats is available, we did it nearly 2 years ago :)

Beats on MQBevo is completely different to Beats on MQB. Beats on MQB is awful, MQBevo it's a good system once coupled with some sound deadening

The standard system lacks power, heavy bass makes the overall volume of the system drop 🤮

BEATS is as good as the money it costs, its not a truly powerful, deep bass system, however it does a pretty good job considering its a low budget system. For most people its more than enough, however, if you are used to aftermarket good sound systems, as my self, you will definitely find it lacking in many areas, high and low. As said its a low cost system that will not fail you at all but will not impress you. Mine came as standard on my Formentor so didn't have a choice and also don't know how the basic oem system sounds to compare. I knew from my Polo, on oem sound system, that the BEATS edition didn't differ much and was not worth the extra money. Could be the same with Formentor, I don't know, but on the other hand the BEATS on the Formentor gives a lot of choices to play around through many sound options and preferences/adjustments but is not to be considered a high end sound system, simply a nice average one.
Don't know if any sound deadening will immensely improve the sound, surely it will somehow, but don't think its worth the money, the extra weight and the undoing of the interior. If I had to upgrade I would probably first elect to replace the BEATS subwoofer with a more powerful, brand name one, but don't know if its possible or if I can find one to fit.
