Stroker kit or just rods?
Or maybe a largeport head

Close enough. I've been looking for a large port for a good price but I've ended up buy a AGU engine. It's supposed to be just over 77k miles. If it looks good when I take it apart I'll rebuild it at my leisure and swap it over. The higher CR of the AGU along with it being large port. Is supposed to help get more power at lower boost, there for lower EGT and more timing advance.
So my plan now is I'm going to get a 3"DP and go stage 2 on the current engine. Get on with building up the AGU. If it does go bag I'll swap them over or take my time getting the engine spec I want. I just hope the engine is a good one but at least hopefully the head will be usable.

Spare lump is always handy!

Good way to go about it mate, and right way of thinking.

Look forward to seeing how it unfolds. :)

The wheel looks in good condition

Someone at some point has spent some time refurbishing it. It's so much better than the 210 version. The new lambda will hopefully mean the EML goes off for a while at least.

Also any advise on spark plugs and where to get them would be much appreciated.

Cold rating 7's work best on remapped cars. If it can wait fit them when you get a map.

The Iridium's are the nuts though, been brilliant on mine.

I may have to try the lashes know lol. Only problem is if my daughter sees them they have to stay on! It'd be interesting to see up to what speed they stay stuck.

Are the plugs the NGK BKR7EIX? Would fitting the 7's be a problem while on a standard map?
