I like the lights very much :). Seen them earlier in the year but quite pricey!

That isn't too bad for the discs! Are they 312? Wonder how much it would be for a set of 4!!

Cheers matey. The lights aint that pricey when you consider how much the OEM ones are...

My discs are standard size but grooved :) you upgrade your rears to the same as fronts??? My rears are still standard as well but won't bother goin grooved on them as the car's setup hardly uses them

reluctantly I had to send back the upper 1-piece pipe to get one of the connectors spun round as the grooves didn't line up with the EGR inlet...but in the meantime i got busy fitting the lower replacement pipes

90 degree bend - metal centre pipe to SMIC (SAMCO PD130 kit)
90bendSMIC_zpsc363a17c.jpg

turbo outlet, less restriction - turbo to metal centre pipe (SFS)
turbooutletSFS_zps6fc5d236.jpg

can't wait to get the upper pipe back and get it out on the road again to see whether top end rev performance is better and less smokey as it felt a tad low on power. Before fitting the new pipes i gave the inlets and outlets a good wipe down as were full of oil from the diesel fuel (from my pics you can see the residues from the old leaks)

will post again as soon as the top pipe arrives (i'm hoping before Christmas but not holding my breath...)

thanks for looking :)

NOTE: all replacement pipes were fitted using original VW o-ring seals and pipe clips (for the later mk4 Ibiza engines). I will post up the o-ring seal part numbers for people's reference tonight (not cheap but at least they're original and fit)

apologies for not getting back to you sooner Robbo, had noticed your post but forgot to reply

the branded gear knob and steering wheel came standard with the facelift FR's and Cupra's, however, you can purchase them from SEAT (roughly £35 for the gear knob) or you may get lucky on the web.

my headlights I got from an online store (can't remember the name of the place). if you google mk4 ibiza r8 style headlights then you should be able to find a set with no real hassle...just make sure they're RHD for UK vehicles. the fitment for the headlights is H1 so i also recommend fitting a 55w H1 HID kit on them if you do get a set as the light given off is similar to that of OEM xenon lights rather than the 35w versions with are a tad dim for projector headlights

big up SEAT Spur Garage in Molesey (Hamptons)

thought i'd just post a thank you to Spur Garage in Molesey who done my recent service and MOT (sorting out the beam pattern on my aftermarket headlights as well).

Cannot fault their work and humble customer service team.

I'm enjoying driving the whip more than ever now and now looking forward to meeting Will at p-torque soon for my custom cat-back exhaust ;)

got the whip washed and polished on the bank holiday weekend just before it started flurrying. Took some up to date snaps as I also changed my front indicator bulbs to chromed versions, getting rid of the orange indicator look. You can't really notice the lowered stance as I had it parked in front of my mates drive but at least I have some recent shots now

I went to lepsons for mine last week bud. Tbh for £408 I wasn't really impressed. I asked for polished dish, they gave me diamond cut and tried to fob it off as polished and the paint coverage on the spokes are thin and speckled in places I've just noticed.

sorry to hear that bud, dropped mine off this morning for the refurb :) tbh 3 years ago I had mine done with a diamond cut face and they did an excellent job...maybe you got one of the newbies at the time.

as far as i'm aware they don't even publish polished finishes, only diamond cut...
