Random misfire whilst idling

My cordy has been misfiring occasionally whilst idling, and sometimes it will hesitate / cut out when setting off on a hill. I think it is losing pressure on the fuel system, just wondering if any one else has had this problem, and if so is as simple as a new gasket on the manifold?

Also the welds on the base plate of my handbrake have come lose, so I currently have to leave it in gear! Fun and games...

Yeah man I got the same issue on my cordy sx 2l. if not driven for a few days its a bugger to start and when it does it misfires when driving for about 15 min then its fine. If you find out a solution be sure to let me know!

My mate is a mechanic and he thinks it will be more than likely it will need a new fuel filter. Once the better weather come I will look into it. Mine always starts first time, so not sure if is the same thing. My haynes is in the car, but next time I look at it I will see what it says about not starting first time for you.
