Spending £1500 on a new set of rims is putting me off abit now as 2 days ago I was coming round a round about in the inside lane and some bell end on the left cut me off! I was doing about 50mph or so and had to swerve hitting my rear right rim off the kerb which nearly spun me out!!! If that happened with new rims I would be devistated!!!

The ET of the original 18' alloys is 51 mm.

The guys out there who istalled ET 35 wheels to your Mk 2 Leon -are you sure the handling is still OK ? No extreme tramlining when braking or accelerating ?

This ET 35 is MASSIVE ! 16 mm out of the original spec. I have heard -already this ET 45 is ruining a bit the otherwise excellent original chassis.

Same wheels ACE 205 HB. 19"s are even more impresive, thought about 19, and than got 18" tyres for free from a friend, so only had to order alloys. Also have papers factory written in homologation for 18.

Must say your leon looks superb!!!!!
