With regards to upgrading wheels, I was advised against fitting 19" or 20" as it would seriously affect the handling. Has anyone any experience of this ?

Imo 19" is fine, but 20" are too "big" and "heavy", if you consider "best" /good handling etc...

Did you take that photo and if so can you remember the name of the dealership ?

I was quoted £525 delivered without tyres from Rochford for the Equinox, but found out that someone I know had the chrome rim come off one when he hit a pothole, so not so sure about them ?? He reckoned the alloy would have been whacked anyway even if it didn`t have the rim in it ..

I just got my new Zenetti Radiuas mounted.
The rim Sizes: 8,5x20 front. 10x20 back.
The tire Sizes: 225/30 front. 245/30 back.

im now running 8.5 x 19 modav alloys custom refurbed in antricite with eibach -30 mm drop chris

they are et 45 8.5 x19 with 235x35x19 tyres
already had the tyres off my old chrome 19s
so all in i guess about £550 for alloys about £200 paint refurbs started chrome then silver then anthricite
plus fittings etc cheers chris

I had the standard 18's on the BTCC kitted car redone due to a careless sister. :(

Here are mine, I originally wanted 18" BBS anthracite, but by the time I'd saved up for them you could only get anthracite in 19" which I didn't fancy.
