im thinking of selling my mk2 its a 1995 1.4 salsa with 141500 miles on it in fairly good condition, hat sort of price will i get for it? i know it wont be much, but dont worry i will be staying with seats im looking at getting a mk1 leon 1.9tdi 110ps, maybe around a 2001-2003 how much do you think i would expect to pay? i have seen a few for around the £2500-£3000 area is that fair??

I managed to convert a lad i work with to the SEAT way of thinking and he brought a 1.9 diesal 110 and he loves it !.....also i think it re mapps really well and if done would be a real sleeper !

I like leons.

The pre face lift ibiza's can look tired but it sounds like you have had good wear from it.

its got soo much life left in it but i just feel like upgrading i have just done a full service on the engine which has no nocks or unwanted noises, anybody have any idea roughly how much it is worth?

No more than £500, might be a better idea trying to part ex it on the leon, really worth going through the dealers as they are desperate at the moment!

I'd second that, my DAD went to part ex his 1998 Ibiza cupra GTI with 136000 on the clock and they wouldn't give him more than £200 for it, hence the reason I now own it

tbh when I was looking for a cheap run around, I found the 1.4 would sell at a higher price than the GTi's which shocked me!
