What Wax

Hi Guys,

New to the forum, just wondered if anyone can recommend a wax to use? Never bothered before until now. How do they come - spray/putty or polish style?? Any recommendations would be cool. Its for my Black Cupra R.

Also how often should you do it? I thought it was once or twice a year rather than monthly/weekly?

Cheers Stu.

I'm in the same boat, looking for a wax to replace my next to useless megs stage 3 wax, after less than 2 weeks the beading has dramatically reduced.

Carlack followed by Colinite works well for me. Blackfire is also worth a try, very easy on and off www.PolishedBliss.co.uk

Both Colinite and Blackfire Sealant bead VERY well, Colinite last slightly longer IMO.

Bought some of this the other week as it was in line of sight and I wanted to clean the car there and then. Was sceptical but it's been beading a treat.

I also have Meg's stage 3 wax and although i used it today and looks good, it only lasts a couple of weeks tops! So a new wax is needed for me too.

I'm gonna try Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance after hearing nothing but rave reviews about it on here or possibly Raceglaze 55.

If anyone is looking for good wax - try "naviwax". It is fantastic. You can have the car waxed in less than 1 hour and it beads for months!

Go to nubawax . Com

Auto Glym - Ultra Deep Shine (for dark colours is always good)

And Meguiars Speed Detailer inbetween washes... keeps it blinging!
