CUPRA is doing things a bit differently for the reveal of the new Raval, with live launch events taking place across 12 European cities on 9 April.
Rather than sticking to a traditional launch format, the brand is tying Raval’s debut to local music and city culture, with six public-facing performances taking place in major city centres under the “Follow the CUPRA” banner.
Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Berlin, Manchester and Milan will each host live shows featuring a mix of well-known artists, with CUPRA saying the performances will include a blend of established tracks and at least one unreleased song.
The line-up includes Nathy Peluso in Barcelona, Guitarricadelafuente in Madrid, Disiz in Paris, Kim Petras in Berlin, Chase & Status and Lancey Foux in Manchester, and Mahmood in Milan.
Alongside those six main events, CUPRA is also holding reveal events in Munich, Vienna, Lisbon, Rotterdam, Copenhagen and Helsinki, giving the Raval a genuinely pan-European launch rather than focusing on one single venue.
It is a fitting approach for the Raval, which CUPRA is positioning as a more youthful, urban-minded electric car with a stronger sense of character than the usual compact EV. The new model is due on European roads in summer 2026 and is expected to play a big role in making the brand’s electric line-up more accessible.
At just four metres long, the Raval is aimed squarely at the compact end of the market, but CUPRA is clearly keen to present it as something more than just a sensible city EV. From everything we have seen so far, the emphasis is on bold design, strong driver appeal and a bit more attitude than most rivals in this part of the market.

A different kind of launch for the Raval
CUPRA has never exactly done things the traditional way, and this looks like another example of that. Launching the Raval with live music events in multiple cities feels far more in keeping with the car’s image than a standard conference-hall reveal.
Whether that translates into the car itself living up to the hype is another question, but in terms of getting attention, it is certainly a more interesting way of introducing the Raval to the world.
