Coolingmist look to have ripped off Snowperformances stuff.

I have the snow perfromance stage2 kit(boostcooler stg 2) it works very well at cooling the intake charge. The only thing i don´t like is the size of the pump, it´s about twice the size of the aquamist pump but it can pump at a higher pressure.

I've always used aquamist on my previous cars but in honesty i would'nt suggest it unless you are running at pretty high boost. Most mildly tuned cars will actually lose some power as the water obviously dosent burn and although the cooling propertys are good they can seldome make up for this fact. We recently ran a high spec rover 220 turbo with an engine built by myself with forged internals at 19psi and the car made 260bhp (needs a bigger turbo for more power) without water injection but with it on it lost about 4-5bhp. We simply have it on for prolonged full throttle and to safe guard the engine in hot weather. It all depends on how far you have gone already.

Are you joking? For the record my company has nothing but respect for snow performance. We engineered our products completely different than snows products. Our controller is programmable, our tank is custom made as is our checkvalve. When designing our controller we did NOT purchase any other controller on the market. We designed our controller with a fresh slate.

If you look at the specs on our controller you will see it has little in common with snows.

Apologies coolingmist but from looking at your site you use the same pump and tank as Snow. Saying that the rest of you kit looks to be of higher spec.

Our main tank is made by us, for us. Our other tank is not the same tank that snow carries.

Thanks!

Sorry for bringing this up again but i got a coolingmist kit. All i can say it that there customer service is the worst i have ever had to deal with

After having a problem with the fittings that go into the pump cracking the pump housing.

I spent more of an afternoon e-mailing coolingmist to try and sort it out.

To which i was told that all the fittings are already fitted before he ships them out to customers

mine WERE NOT fitted when i recived the pump.
infact my pump came the same as the picture coolingmist has posted in the post above this one. With blue plastic caps inplace where the fittings go.

his reply to this was more or less your are a lier and im not talking about it anymore.:birdy:

Carl,

All of our systems are fitted before they leave. On your initial email, you told us that you tried to make the fittings go flush to the pump. You cracked both ends of the pump housing. When you ordered the kit, we shipped it in 1 day. When you sent an email about your problem we responded in 5 minutes. when you described your problem we made a deal and got you a housing for only $20 + $10 shipping.

I will state for a fact that our pumps came with the fittings allready attached. Even if they did not, it takes alot of torque to crack the housing.

When bashing our company on the net, perhaps you should include the facts.

Carl,

On your initial email, you told us that you tried to make the fittings go flush to the pump.

What!!!
i never said this!! i said that "they cracked well before they went flush!!!"

the bottom line is that you refuse to belive that your company could make a mistake by not fitting the fittings to the pump before they were shipped to me.

well you also made another mistake by not sending me my clog nozzel detector which was ment to be in the kit aswell.

Anyway if i was making this up do you really think that i would still be talking about it on public forums.

the services you provided were very poor and the goods that i recived had parts missing and parts not assembled correctly

Karl,

As I pointed out you CANT make the fittings go flush. They are NPT fittings which are tapered. They dont go all the way in.

All the fittings were assembled correctly, the rest gets assembled by you.

All of our products are backed by our 7 day a week support, very quick responses to emails and phone and our 90 day warranty (1 year for controller kits). What is not covered is abuse, etc.

Your new housing and clog nozzle detector went out last week (the same day you emailed us). You should have it in a few days.

giving someone bad rating on ebay is a pretty crappy thing to do. Just shows you how professional the outfit is really, not at all interested in providing the best service possible:w4nk::lol:
