A place called Motorserv in Milton Keynes,dont keep Sachs in stock but are a dealer for them and can order in quickly,and im sure if you mention the site you will get a discount.

Do you have any part numbers to give,as it might be easier that way,as they dont massively deal with that sort of thing even though they can get it.

I dont understand, why would sachs do a standard one? surely thats pointless, i thought the whole point of them was they where of a higher torque rating, why make more than 1 for that model of car?

They offer a stad clutch so they can still sell as a cheaper but decent equivalent to a genuine clutch.
They also do uprated clutches to be able to handle the extra torque and power,but i believe at about 3 times the price!!

Rofl, so do i, problem is findiong what you need at a decent price and getting everything you need, then finding (for me) someone to fit it.

Whats your top end for clutch and fitted?

got the inlaw to do it for nowt as he has his own business, ive just being serching for clutch kits all night, meaaseaged about 5 firms so hopefully have reply on monday

OEM clutch kit from motorserv and an uprated allards friction disc. Replace the hydraulic bearing and cover plate with new OEM items, ditch the OEM friction disc and put the allards one in. Inc fitting i reckoned around between £500 and £600.

Should be good for well over 200bhp and well over 300lb/ft of torque.

By comparison the uprated sachs kit was about £800 or so and that's before fitting and VAT and with some discount!
