Hello only got a few more things left to do on my car before its completely finished which are:

- Finish Audio install off (amp, power cap and neons)
- Springs and dampers (35mm drop anyone know best prices and where to get them from?)
- Exhaust backbox (best price for one fitted? discount on it? have been quoted custom backbox fitted from someone in town for £140 or £250 for full cat back both stainless steal not mild steal!)

Anyone got prices and places to get these things and suggest anyhting else to do on it to finish it off???

cheers

chris

They are standrad dampers from an 03 Ibiza tdi sport with eibach lowering springs, they cost about 150 for the springs last December. Done 24600 miles on the car since new.

For pictures go to seat pictures and look for Newbie... some pics! :D

Or here is one...

About 40mm, the front might be lower, it looks low because of engine weight and the rear drops more with people inside! :D It's a safety thing to stop rubbing on the arches which I havn't suffered.

I havn't got a clue what the dampers and springs are worth, maybe 150-160 the lot??

but would they fit ok on mine as its only a 1.2 and i think the weight differences would be a lot between the two so...

there would be a lot of weight difference... the springs would benifit from haveing the weight on them (specially at the front) as that is what they are designed for! me personally i would go for the set up that is configared to the car weight!

Agree'd the 1.2 engine is light as feather next to the 1.9 TDi.

Id buy specific to the car imo

Apologies, did not realise you had a 1.2! It might not sit as low and the springs are set up for the diesel engine weight etc
