Well you have a few options available;

AM04 - 260bhp
GT2X Eliminator - 280bhp
GT28RS Eliminator - 320bhp
GT2871R - Up-to-400bhp
IHI - 345bhp

If your fitting a 225 enging you could always stick with the K04 and make a suitable down pipe to clear the steering rack, you can get around 260bhp out of these.

Another one would be the K04 Hybrids which some LCR owners have, they seem pretty impressive but I do believe they may have more fitting issues than just the K04 in an Ibiza.

Sam can I just clear up, in your sig it says 286hp? is that from your gt2x
Im sure theres a thread somewhere that said it was from a k03s, in which case shouldnt it be 286lbs?
Also earlier in this thread you made reference to jabba stage 2 customers, should they be worried or could it have been your car in question not the tuners? lol

Aye, I thought you had a GT2X now judging by your sig, also what do you mean Jabba Stage 2, is there one? Though it was just a case of Jabba map the cars to the best they can, theres no Stage 1 / Stage 2 mapping like with Revo.

Modifications define the stages, not just the mapping.

Did you clean the pistons before taking photo's of them as they look abit shiney and clean, to be used, you would expect some sooting etc.

Looks as if its been running a little rich too me.

I have 75% of the stuff needed to turn her into the k04 beast for sale! Should see around 280 bhp in that.

Gutted for you but at least it wasnt toooo bad, plus it means she will be bigger, stronger and faster soon!

Note to self, start a power to weight chart as im sure the beezer is almost half the weight of a leon!

Mine as an example. std motor for 35K+ miles on IHI running 1.6bar boost or more.

Retired the engine as a runner still producing 344bhp, used no oil, but did have more blow by on the rings I think than I would be happy with. Still sat on a pallet for a rainy day rebuild.

Only changed my motor to get the 1900cc motor installed, which does have a lot of nice bits in it. 2.2bar boost later, 14months on, 485bhp on last dyno, its still going.

thats probably why it went pop to get that sort of bhp(which i dont even think is near possible off a ko3s) would need stupis amounts of boost

285 BHP K03s ?? WOW . I was told by Jabba that the most BHP you would get from a K03s is 230-240 with the exception of a few who have 250 ish but ?? not 285 unless yes the boost is like stupid high which = BANG after a while

Lol, Forums are so funny.. i didnt come on here for an arguement, my car at pts made 286.6hp on there rollers and iv got graphs but they did have traction issue's! The car was running 26psi n had been for 11months! it also done a 14.1 i think it was at santa pod and that was a poor run! my sig also says that my car is bk after xmas..
