camcoat in warrington - good enough for LeMans cars so probably good enough for you....advantages and disadvantages - well it keeps the heat where you want it, either in or out, but the heat doesnot disappear so you need to think where it goes to and take steps there also - if a manifold is coated, the system will get more heat

If a manifold is treated then the turbo should perform better, at the same time keeping heat out of the engine bay. I get that the heat has to go somewhere but surley a little way down the downpipe will be fine? or not.

its a case of be prepared or things downstream to get a lot hotter from the heat passed thru the coated bits.

think ehaust hanger rubbers melting & the like. (as inexpensive fix to this being a jubliee clip around the rubber to support the weight with heat.

not sure how the turbo will perform 'better' if its receiving gas with more heat in it...?....but keeping the engine bay cool sounds like a good idea

My turbos ceramic coated but it came from the states like that. RobDon posted up some pics and info on ceramic coating a while ago as he had his rocker cover etc done

given the cost of pukka ceramic coating, dont know why anyone would do their rocker cover
