good old seat ive had problems with fans on rad secondary water pump not working i started getting funny smells i found a melted fuse holder on the battery and knackard battery

think of it this way, once you've fixed these things, you'll have piece of mind that its done and you'll have learnt something

thank god i caught it when i did my loacal seat dealer in cheltenham is rubbish ive had no end of hastle trying to order the right part with them

This is very common, and iam sure this resulted in one lads cupra being written of, there should be a recall

it happened after i left you
started playing and found the fuse was meleted the bottom of the fuse holder is a right mess that explains the water pump not working when i switch off i hope

that happened to mine! matt sorted it out for me though! befor it was too late!

I've had it twice now and the second time it melted the holder so i had to get a new fuse box bit and cost around £30 IIRC.
Just another common fault !!! tut tut

happened to mine also, went for a new holder, fuses, cover - the whole lot.... couldnt be bothered with it happening again...!

fitted the new part today still the secondary water pump is not working i let the car warm up untill the fans come in switched it off no noise from the water pump does the car have to be drivin before it works

ign on only and the thing should start and run for 10mins.
possible faulty pump loading the fuse?

just found out the secondary water pump is toast thats why it cooked the fuse any one got a spare one

seat dont want to know i ask my local dealer for a oil filter and he has no interest i hate going to seat for anything

That may be true dealing with individuals but if they have loads of people all raising an issue together they can't pass it off as a one off.
