When your aircon is on do the fans come on slow speed and stay constant or do they come on full power for a few seconds then go off for a few seconds and then back on again, if it is the latter then the slow speed fan controller is bust and seat will replace if still under warranty. Hope this helps.
When my air con is on my fans go full tilt for a few seconds, then nothing, then full tilt again, they have been doing this for months and I assumed it was normal until I read this thread and then started digging arround. My car is now 3 years and 1 month old
Fuses all look ok, can some one confirm where the relay is (i'll keep searching in the mean time).
ive got this too...n so have alot of others it would seem!.... my warrantees jus ran last month..grr its been doing it for a good while though..its anoying when the fans kicking all the time when staionary even from cold!..
im hoping they will still do it under warantee..coz it was doing it when i took it for a end of warrantee check!..but i didnt know it was a fault till now!..im not sure how to explain it to them tho..coz damm dealers are thick as **** n dont listen to wat you tell them!..
well mine has been back to the main dealers now they knew about it and replaced both fans under warrenty and they now are fine, invoice price was £266 if not under warrenty from my local dealer.
