hi everyone,

been lurking on here and absorbing the leon knowledge for the past couple of months, and the forum is excellent!

the missus and i are thinking of buying an FR TFSi DSG in red  (or the other option is a mini cooper  - it will be the wifes car btw). i noticed that seat did price revisions from June, does anyone know if there were any spec changes associated with the price increases (particually to the FR)?

i did do a search but didnt find anything.

thanks alot!
g :)

The side badges on the FR (engine designation) have been removed as well as the cigar lighter so these and more things i would think removed for the extra £200 or so for the 08 models

thanks for the replies guys!

so looks like the 08 model is a 'stripped out' version and lighter than the 07 model :p seems to be just a price increase then i guess

unfortunatly its not going to be my everyday car so i cant make the decision of which one to buy, though i am trying my hardest to sway the decision ;)
(i actually think the mini is ok but so uninspiring compared to the FR, the mini dealer was suprisingly nice too though in their defense, but the options ticked from the mini list was frightening!!)

just bare this in mind how many mini coopers are on the road compared to seat leon fr's .personally i think thats a good enough reason not to buy a mini cooper:blink:

the cupra is currently priced as £19,695, im not sure what it was pre-june. i think price increases were across the board though.

yeah i know, but its a girl thing. just like the female/male ratio of mini drivers

i dont get it personally...???
