:funk: how many people can say that about there dealers :whistle: :D

plus we both have franchised cars

before we got the yellow cupra demo i told dave we should get a white demo he said no chance no one would want a white one, haha :lol:
 
I've known David and the other sales guys for a while and they all were a bit negative about the Candy White but I was determined and I will put money on it that they will get more orders for the Leon Cupra but I've already paid David off with cash so he doesn't order anymore Candy White :happy:

The biggest problem they said they have is the badge snobbery in the Island and when customers are paying Leon Cupra sort of money they would rather buy a VW or Audi, more foul them I say

jersey is one of worst places for badge snobbery unfornunatly, you say you have a SEAT thay think of the old marbellas and old ibiza's

Must admit been talking a lot at work about my new baby as I am so excited and a few colleagues are very keen to have look and one has even just ordered a new SEAT Leon FR :lol:

Pass it on th SEAT Leon is way to go but not in Candy White!!! Candy White no longer available in Jersey !!!

:pHi there island cupra yes looks superb is such a fantastic colour on the leon really suits it well, looks even better in the flesh :D So glad i too went for candy, least i sure we still wont see many. Enjoy your self over there matey:funk:
 
Oh my god I can't stand it any longer..............................picking the Candy White baby up at 15.45 tomorrow (Friday) and I am beside myself with excitement and the wife thinks I'm a child :(

I have not been this excited for a while and I don't think sleepm is going to happen tonight and work will be very long...................

the car looks great, and i can understand why your feeling like a kid on christmas eve!
do you know when your car was built? (its a chrome/black grille surround question).
looking forward to those pics, although it doesnt help the waiting game i'm also playing.
 
My car was dispatched from the factory on 31st May 2007 and from the info I have been given by a very helpful and informative tech at the local dealer it was made 3 weeks prior to the new 2008 model year. The front grille is the only change and I am going to order a black one as it will go nicely with the Candy White and exterior mirror housings.:funk:
 
looks good, 1 question though, where in Jersey can you get over 25mph?, I was there last year and the hire car had an average speed thing and i never got over 40.Is the seat dealer in St Hellier?.popped in there to have a look at their leons while mine was on order.
 
Well picked the baby up this afternoon and I have only just got home to post some photos that I took straight after collecting.

The car is awesome and I love it the smile hasn't moved from my chops and the looks the car gets are really something :D

I even let my wife, Sarah have a drive! The bluetooth works really well and the ipod connection is great. Oh yeah did I mention the speed oh yeah it's really quick, well up to 40mph of course!

I have taken a load of photos and I have uploaded some to Fotopic and I've put the link below. I will in time put somemore on but I think I taken the main ones.

Ah, ok. It was just from your picture's it look's like 4 equally spaced (somethings then lol) along the front, in the mesh.

Can't say as I had noticed them on mine that's all.

See, learn something new everyday :D
