Thanks for the comments, I'm not sure what colour the finish is on the wheels as they were like that when I bought it. They all need refurbing so I might have them redone in a darker shade or keep them as they are but I can't decide at the moment.

I'm near Uttoxeter ;)

@ Andi, my local Seat dealer said they'd take the old one off me for some cash so I was surprised that I'd get something for it at all, especially from a dealer.

I've recently added a Fabia rear wiper to the car to replace the crappy standard one. I've also had passenger lower side door panels & skirt of car resprayed and the front bumper replaced after my minor parking mishaps last year.

I was going to do some mods this year but money is tight at the moment so leaving it off for now until I hopefully change jobs later this year. I was going to do a lot with suspension but think I'll just change some engine bits (DV, air filter and TIP) and maybe add anti-roll bars at the most.

No I sold it over 6 months ago unfortunately but there are usually 1 or 2 knocking around ebay every so often for £150 or so.

Not too sure with having a remap/chip done as I had a bad experience with one on my first Leon, which has totally put me off. I'm more interested in making better use of standard power at the moment. :)

trust me mate, find a reputable place such as jabba, amd. custom code, performance torque and you cant go far wrong ;)

Had a coil pack failure yesterday afternoon (cylinder 4) so I struggled home carefully on three cylinders and phoned up my recovery company after talking to my local SEAT dealer. I ended up taking it to a VW dealer but once we were there the recovery truck reversed my car into a skip accidently taking out my rear window.

They got the car towed back to me by 2pm today with the window and faulty coil both replaced, they'd also washed it and blackened the tyre sidewalls as well. In the end it cost me only £28 for the coil pack and they covered everything else so I was quite happy as they had obviously put themselves out to get the situation resolved properly and were very apologetic.

I think it'd be wise to have the other 3 coils replaced soon though as I've heard they all tend to go after one's gone.

The modding has begun! Ordered the FR3 Full Engine Mounting System from THS on Friday with the SCN discount code and it arrived today.

Next up are:

Forge 007P diverter valve
Forge TIP (unfortunately THS have stopped producing their own)
Pipercross Panel Air Filter

These will all be fitted on the first week of January when I have my cambelt done.
