different wheels, silver mirror caps, no cd changer on the FR are the main differences.

Is there not a definative list of what each car has as standard with no options, i have SEARCHED to the best of my ability, i would have thought this would be a sticky for members whom are researching which car they want to buy....perhaps this could be the start of something beautiful?

???? Its the same car with the same engine? ain't it, except as mentioned different wheels, mirrors etc.

The Diesels were Cupras and the petrols Cupra R's but they changed the name of the cupra R to just cupra because Honda were a bit annoyed, they though people might confuse the Type R with the Cupra R!!??

OK, you have a pre-facelift Cupra diesel with 150bhp 16 inch alloys and bumpers styled earlier
The a cupra facelift with 17's different bumpers (was meant to modernise it!?)
The the FR after that with again 17's in a different style, different bumpers again
and finally the FR+ with cupra r bumpers and 17inch replica (or Ibiza cupra) alloys
All came with different little bits in that change randomly. Id imagine the FR doesnt come with a CD changer as has a MP3 CD player? Id hope!

I knew the petrol was, just assumed they do a dirty diesel aswell So the Cupra diesel were all facelift and 17's?

FR has silver wing mirrors too whereas all the Cupras (petrol and diesel) have colour coded mirrors.
... tsk tsk.. everyone knows the Cupra is the better choice...you get the ickle cupra badge on the back

I have the FR+ 150 TDI. My mate has the cupra.
The difference between the two are:
FR+ has cruise control, reversing sensors, center arm rest for driver, little lights above the sun shades that turn on when you open the mirror flap, no multi changer or mp3 (cupra has multi changer). Different style wheels but both are 17", cupra R bumpers, electric folding mirrors.
Other than that the cars are the same. Engine, suspension, brakes.
