18" with Apex 35mm on a 1,9tdi sport up.

Yes it's hard, but only on very bad roadsurface etc.

If the leasing company would have let me, I'd go for the 40mm HR, nice lowering front and back and they say reasonably comfortable.

OK. Here's my 5 cents. Before and after I put some H&R's with FSD's to my car:

BEFORE (I thinks it looks like a SUV :D):

Car's look great, can't wait to get mine done!

Ordered some PI 30mm springs should be here on Tuesday....

Please, could someone give me some hints, how to change the front springs to a Leon FR? I already took apart the right side this morning, but couldn't get the shock to drop enough to get the spring off. Is the only way to do this by taking off the anti-roll bar, or is there something I haven't noticed yet? Many thanks in advance.

I like your wheels are they VZ 033's?

I'm considering ordering some of those myself at the moment for when mine arrives...it's either those, Anthracite CK's or CH's :D

Hi Ents, what model of H&R do you have? 'Sport Spring' or 'Super Sport Spring'?
Another question mates, if you put Eibach Sportline to a Cupra and a FR, both lower the same lenght? or the Cupra lower more? and why is that? sorry for all the questions but I really don't know. Thanks in advance.

I fitted Eibach Prokit on my 2ltr TDI sport and it lowered the front by 30mm and the back by 20mm at time of fitting. Measured again after having run them for 4 weeks and the drop is now 35mm front and 25mm rear.Took away the harsh ride due to sport springs and handling has improved dramatically.

Read throught this carefully, still havent come to a conclusion, would like to drop my leon 1.6 sx 2004 by 30-40, which springs would be the best for comfort? H&R? if yes can anyone direct me to the right place to get them, as ebay ones seem confusing

just been on the phone to Awesome gti and they advised for a 30mm KW springs would be the best option...?...anyone had these???

The Eibach pro kit 30mm only lowers the rear end 15-20mm....

I currently have KW springs in the car. Indeed it lowers around 30mm all around. Improves the handling for sure compared to the standard, but cannot give you comparison against eibach as I never had them fitted.

I'm satisfied with the height now, even with 18" wheels, the car doesn't look like standing on its tiptoe (if you know what I meant ;) )

Looking at your requirements I think KW will do the job. Price wise, it is little bit cheaper than eibach.

Got Eibach Sportlines on my Cupra and they're ace. Nice and low with no rubbing at all even with 4 blokes & luggage onboard! Nice firm ride but not too crashy and bouncy, very good all round to be honest!

Hello friend how many mm Eibach Sportlines springs do you have or what correct name for sportlines because thaey are more than one. I have Cupra R and I received info from Eibach company that for my car are Eibach only -20/-20. I think that small I would like to about -30 or -40 front and rear. Thanks for your answer.

Im thinking to choose from eibach and H & R, when rang up a seller, he said eibach is smoother but only goes down by 25 or 30, not sure, but H & R is the softest for 35/40mm drop, would you guys agree? is h & r softer than most other springs?

I have h&r springs, think there 30mm all round (got them second hand) looks loads better but ideally the back could be a tad lower... Still look 10 times better than standard and going over speed bumps etc with no issues

How hard is the ride quality mate, lets say if u was judging on scale 1-10 of comfort, and 1-10 in comfort loss after changing.

10 being very comftrble
10 being the most comfort gone

two scores, please, im looking to get H&R 35/35mm or eibach 30/20-25

I find the car fine, the ride of the cupra's is never going to be luxuary but as I'm driving I have no complaints...

From a passangers view the misses thinks the ride is about the same or worse case a tiny bit more bumpy, so if I had to say out of 10 I would say before comfort 7 and after 6.

But it handles loads better, lot less feel of body roll..

Are u going Amd's rolling road day? I should be going so I can always take you for a quick spin so u can find out for yourself what the ride is like
