Hi, Interesting Read In Issue 991 Of Auto Express, Spotted Audi Tt Diesel Due In 2008 Will Be Powered By 2.0 168bhp Engine, Will This Be The Same Engine Thats In Leon Fr Tdi ?. It Does State That It Will Be The Same Engine Thats Used Across The Vw Range. Also States Will Be One Of The Cheapest Cars In The Range. Though Does Not Say How Cheap, But Just Hope They Deal With Some Of The Issues That Most Leon Drivers Are Posting On Sites Daily { Dpf Especially} If They Can Might Be An Ideal Economical Coupe.

No they don't, they have a 210bph common rain Diesel in the works

That is the engine that is rumoured to be dropped into the TT TDI. I have been considering an A3 recently but will wait for developments on this as I would prefer a TT but not the hideous fuel economy from either TFSI 2.0 or V6 3.2!

If they make this TT, I will buy it

Looking at the Poll the DPF isnt a problem for around 90% of owners...

PD150 engine put in a 2WD TT.

I do like the new TT a lot, looks more sporty then the old TT plus it has a great interia.
