Anyone replaced the gear knobs?

If there was one worth having id consider it. Might go on a hunt to see whats out there replica style
u still got the standard cupra gear knob on yours? Might be interested in it if you didn't want it

there are a few nice ens out there. But nothing to my taste. That's what it's about really! What you like, not what people tell you to like
yeh well there are few nice richbrook ones i think (like alluminium ball ones). Would a normal univerasl one like that go straight on? Also need to make sure there isnt a big gap between top of the gaiter and gear knob cos that'd look rubbish

I reckon it would go on yeah. Have to be careful taking original off (there's a clip of summat inside that you don't wanna snap). Wait for someone to come along and confirm that
Yeah any universal gearknob should fit. The clip isn't too much of a worry tbh comes off easy enough, but the gaiter is a biatch. My gearknob doesn't screw back on flush with the gaiter, about a 1mm gap there. Doesn't look awful but i know its there!

I got gaitor off no probs (was a couple o years ago)
took some force, but finally got it off! Not removed gear knob yet
I've got a Seat Sport knob on mine, i think its off the leon though. Could be wrong, i got it off ebay a while back. Its far better than the crap that was on it before though.
Personally i prefer the look of the standard one. Going to see if i can get one if any come up for sale.

I was searching for really long time for something different than typical 'sport' gear knob and finally I replaced my standard one with Skoda Octavia gear knob - something like this:

I got a momo chrome gear knob, 3 alan keys on the side, to remove the old 1 jus undo the clip surronding and PULL hard . .
