new S3 bucket seats fit LCR?

hey folks, maybe a stupid question, but i will ask it anyway...will the S3 bucket seats in the new S3 fit a LCR?.....i dont think they will, but me mate thinks they might....they are a £1600 odd quid option...

sure you could make them fit, I'm also fairly sure the airbag plug is different so this would need rewiring for the new style plugs.....not a huge job........you could just do without the airbags in the seat, not sure how an insurer would react though?

cheers mate, understand what your sayin regarding insurance and the like..but these seats look sooo nice, cheered me up no end that theres a possibility they may fit...

nuthin wrong with the standard seats tho btw...just that these would suit the interior a lot more...

yes mate, went on the audi S3 configurator and saw the bucket seats...i thought hmmm......very nice...hoped they would fit me r.....

You'd need to fabricate new frames for them to sit on - as the floorpan will be different - but anything is possible if you have the time/skills/money

They are not a direct fit.. i know this as i was looking at the new s3 seats myself

I dont think the new platform (Leon/A3/Golf) is a str8 fit.

There is one user here (Black LCR, OZ Antares, Huge Porsche Brakes etc...) that has a set of seats from the NEW A3.

He may be able to shed some light on the subject...

Someone has fitted RS4 ones in a MK4 Golf so cant see why you couldn't do it in an LCR
