K guys my insurance is up for renewal on my 07 leon FR and im about to phone around for the best price. Who r u insured with, how much did u pay and how old r u?

I just want to get a picture of how much we r all paying on this type of car......and how much i will be paying. Thanx.

FR TFSI last year at tender age of 29 was paying just over £400. I always go through confused, followed by compare the market. Gives wide enough coverage of the market imho.

Insured by Privilige, £233 with £60 cashback as I did it through www.quidco.co.uk making it £173. I'm 45 and is brand new, I'm picking it up tomorrow. Car is FR Tdi.

Techno you must be paying to much, as i forgot to add that £420 includes all the extras / no claims protection / legal etc ps i have got 6 years NCD as well, dont know what you got but your insurance seems high mate

470 - Greenlight or something like that. Actually who the hell am I insured with?

27, 3 or 4 years NCB - I had to lose 8 months because the post office are a bunch of gayers and I swapped car 3 months before I was up for renewal - they wouldn't actually let me change my car on my policy, and that's after them saying it was going to cost an extra £300 or something the week before when I was still considering what to get. ****ers.
And of course they wouldn't let me have a cert saying it was their fault i wasn't getting the full 4th year.

So let's say 3 years NCB, 6 points (3 of which were deserved, I disagree on the 2nd 3, but that's irrelevant - 2 x SP30)

It's £5 less than I was paying on my old car - A 1.4 Yaris D-4D, and has about 2x the power. Result.

I just paid £596 through Adrian Flux the policy has all the trimmings NCB protection, legal etc. That is with 9 yrs NCB, 2 claims (one non fault and one theft /vandalism claim) with business use upto 25k, remap to 255bhp and other cosmetic mods spoiler, skirts etc. I am 32.
