It's not a bad lookin little beast

Looks really nice in those pics.

Once again I have to say that manufacturer press release pictures can never show the true beauty of their vehicles.

Seriously mate if your gonna bang on about the same thing over and over how about doing some leg work and finding the answers to your own questions.

Either way the diesel cupra will have 170hp give or take a few horses like it has been mentioned before.

It will not have 200hp simply for the fact then that the ibiza would be faster than the upcoming diesel cupra, and equivelant audi and vw models.

You still haven't got it now ,have you, mate :)
I was talking for the diesel cupra all along. In order not to bother you anymore, here's my simple question - How many bhp will the diesel cupra have
and when is it comming?

They have obviously been listening to us here on the boards, when the review that I was reading today on Sky Motoring, states the following.....

"
the Cupra is also expected to be offered with a seven-speed DSG automatic/sequential manual gearbox. There are further technological advancements too, including Hill Hold Assist, front fog lights with side illumination and combined auxiliary/USB connectivity for your iPod or memory stick.
"

But seriously, why would you want SEVEN gears!?

perhaps too early to judge, and like someone else said, the press release shots did the car no justice what so ever

now if they did that in a 3 door, with k1 bodykit or similar, I think it could look very nice indeed

would be half tempted to go back to one of those.....

they have really managed to bring out the lines and shape of the car in the MK5....as i always felt the mk4 just looked flat from a number of angles:(

From the real world pictures I have to say it looks quite nice :) Looks a little like an Astra Sport Hatch in the 2nd pic though! :(

I've read the same opinion in other forums. The car looks a lot better in person. SEAT didn't take good pictures of the car (at least in those official press pictures) :(

Agreed, most of the red shots aren't good. Many of the white ones aren't either

However, I really like the side profiles of the white car, and you're right a photo of a car in a natural scene will be better than the over produced images we have so far

but lets just hope it looks even better in the flesh i just hope some gets some good pics of this on the touring truck thats going round the country.
mork when do you think you will know more info about this?

it's at Rockingham this weekend..... but I think it's moving off to central Europe very sopon after

Bad news! - I'll need to get rid of my Ibiza Cupra then! :( I was planning on getting the Cupra spec of the MK5 though! :D or even a Leon Cupra.
