Just thought I would let everyone know.. if your interested..

I just got my Jetex exhaust in the mail today... and it has "slash cut"pipes.. so should match the standard backbox quite well (I was expecting, as I have seen in peoples pics on here that it would be straight cut).

By that I mean it's still inward rolled, but the pipes end in an / not a | if you see what I mean.

It's also 2.5" all the way through... Can't wait to fit it.. looks beautiful and very well made.

Will post pics and fitting review when it's on.

Cheers,

Adam.

Fitted... £25 bargain.

The bloke in the tyre / exhaust place said it was a good fit, needed no adjustment (he says most he has done do need adjustment.. so I guess that's a good review), no knocking so far.

Tail pipes sit in the middle nicely as they should, look kinda standard but bigger.

Sounds good, not too loud, not too boomy, very quite off boost / normal town driving.. roars like a good'n when you boot it.. in the higher gears it has that "wind rushing" / "jet engine" sound... it also pops / crackles sometimes.. I imagine it does this more when it's hot.. but I'v only 15 miles or so since fitting so getting used to it.

It has definitly improved high rev pull and urgency.. but my old exhaust was blown to bits and full of holes / cracks so I don't know how much better it would be over a standard good nick exhaust.

Over all.. £325 inc VAT well spent I think.

Glad to hear you are happy! All sounds good.

You'll have to post a pic when you get chance :)

Do Jetex indicate any specific power gains from this exhaust? as I have been looking at getting a blueflame system but the cost is out of my reach at the moment :(

soz.. no pics yet.. will take some at the weekend and post em up.

I'm on the hunt for a nice downpipe and sport cat now.. I'm not very impressed with the pics I have seen of the blueflame or the miltek... but that AM motorsport one looks good... don't know if you can still get these tho :(
