I've unfortunately decided to sell my LCR, it's a great car and i've priced it at what i consider a fair price, it is an early car but it comes with both satnav and front and rear recaros.

It's priced at £7500.

now my dilemma is, do i sell the recaros and fit some standard seats.....then reduce the price accordingly, and also do i remove the sat nav and fit a standard fit radio deck in it's place and adjust the price again.

Are the Recaros particularly valuable? likewise the satnav too (i've fitted a 2007 disc so it's pretty up to date)

I'm not out to make more money than the car is worth, whatever i got for the bits i'd adjust the price in line with this eg; if i get £500 for the seats the price drops to £7000, another £300 for the sat nav then the price is £6700 etc etc (made up prices btw lol.

Is this a bad idea, i'd say my car would be an amazing buy at £6700 tbh even without those bits, it's lovely to drive is a good all round car.

What do you reckon? hold out til it sells or try the above ?

not in any rush to sell btw.

Hi mate, youll struggle to remove factory sat nav unit and replace with standard radio as you will also need a diiferent console/din panel as they differ,if i were you i would sell the car as is,with recaros and satnav it would add about £1000 extra onto second hand base value, have a look on parkers guide and adjust for milage and extras to give you an idea of how much more car is worth with the extras such as satnav,cd changer, recaros on it.I think the car would be more desirable with those extras on it.

Sounds sensible, i think i'll leave it as it is then, it's probably priced about right i'd say if those extras do make it a little more desirable.

Factory nav you should leave, as you will have a limited market for it.

Recaros will bring anything from £250 to £500 depending on condiction, colour etc.

i would leave them for the reasons given above they are also selling points for the car like you said and will make them stand out against cars without these meaning your more likly to get a genuine buyer
