my white gti 8v progress

well it looks pretty tidy now . also cleaned the throttle body , ran some redex through her . washed / clayed .polished ( but needs a wee wash again after been workin on it

mechanically excellent , with new gearbox / clutch ( reciept for about 1500 included )

for sale soon , but the white is growing on me

Yeah I was just thinking the same thing, how are you getting on with those arches etc. Can remember it was a bit scruffy. I wanted the white one off ebay, but its a bit pricey and if u look at the pictures the splitter is missing

Notice the rust has gone from under the window

one arch is fine , and the other has minimal rust . ive done a bit with the arches but nothing great . will post pics tomorow .

just got her out the garage for todays work . the alloys not the best , but the new keeper will change them im sure

took her for a wee spin and the engine is sweet !!

defo for sale though as i need the funds for holiday , and im too attached to my black one lol !!

only taken the airbox m8 . will source what else i need from breakers/ebay as the car looks decent now and dont want to ruin selling chances . I had to basically just clean it up and deal with the surface rust , clean the throttle body , re-hang exhaust a bit .

new front number plate tidied the front end too

all good , but the drivers doorcard is slightly damaged
