Another 1.4! im glad someone asked about puttin Cupra kits on i was hoping it wouldnt be difficult i think the 1.4's are quick for what they are and make a wicked sound with cat to back on! i think all 1.4 owners should come together to override all the cupra's that would be funny!!

Yeh i love my 1.4 (well the noise it makes ha) but seriously it's a perky little thing, and now sounds good too. Don't see loads about either, where as there are corsa B's in my rear view mirror so often it's funny!

yer corsas n other random cars like the other day... before clutch went! was dark and just saw halogens i thought it would be some kid in a corsa or something along those lines but it was a toyota starlet turbo i was devestated when i heard a dump valve obviously i turned of to make it look smooth! ha

I love the fact everyone is amazed by the red dashboard illumination, infact thats what sold me mine. Well that and the fact that it was cheap and had all the extras I wanted such as remote locking.
Infact, theres a girl at my work who drivers a VW Bora and I always laugh, cos, when I'm getting out of my car, I press a button and its locked, and shes fumlbing around with the key in the door.
They're really suprisingly well specced, well mine is anyway!

about the vw-ness my clutch went two weeks ago thew cars done 32,000 and ive had it a month! it was a grandad who had it before me tho so thats my exuse i still wont admit there un reliable! get it back saturday though and Cupra alloys come sunday!
Almost never see any Starlets unfortunately, but I gather they're savage! 1.3 turbos right? Apparently great for tuning by fiddling with turbo
Here's a thought, u know the new mk5 golf GT is a 1.4 turbo and supercharger??
