Yeah I'm defo looking for a derv as my next car. It was a very close call between me getting the cupra or mk1 leon derv cupra/FR+ May only keep the cupra for another year or so?

Yeah im only getting about 200 miles to a full tank! Plus in another years time it'll be even older so i'd like to sell it while before it's 'too far gone'

thats horrendous mate! our tanks are massive too!

was talking to my parents who own a 1.5 civic, to fill their tank is just over £30 quid and they get nearly 500 miles out the tank.

my 1.4 takes around £45 nearing £50 to fill from empty, and mine covers 400 ish miles....

stupid VAG's and their non eco engines...

And i have to feed it V-Power each time it needs a drink! At least I can say i've owned one, so i'll be happy with that when I move on. My parents had a derv mk2 Leon FR which i had a drive of and i was pretty impressed by its performance tbh! With a nice map and aero kit i'll be well chuffed!!!

told our lass to get one as her next car. think she'll stick with a small car, so told her to get a VW Fox. She would also like a Beetle. Keep telling her it's an "overweight golf", but at least it's VAG :)

I'm moving to the caribbean where petrol is 30p a litre and getting a massive truck. Sod getting an ecomotive anything...

I've got it! I've finally got my Ibiza! It looks gorgeous! and I drove it about 90 miles an' not a single ache! I'm impressed. Will be putting some photo's up... soon, once I've eaten :D

Well, I had an eventful day today...
had a puncture, but didn't notice it  as i've been having to drive slow on roads coz of all the rain etc. and then drivin on M56, all of a sudden lots of noise no control of back end, and was runnin on my back left rim for a few 100 yards to pull over and stop on hard shoulder, then over an hour to wait for break down :help: coz stupidly i'd taken spare wheel out to lose weight , and that tyre weld foam stuff is crap, didn't do anything coz puncture was bad and can't use that tyre weld when tyre isn't on the alloy properly!
And with it pouring down with rain, no rain coat or anything and it being freezin, wasn't best experiences i've had with my ibiza so far!!!! [:@]
Also had to pay £97 for new tyre (coz they're 17" tyres n fckin expensive) and also for them to knock the alloy a bit to make it all straight etc.

Lesson learnt though..... NEVER TAKE SPARE WHEEL OUT OF CAR!!!! EVER!!!!!
