Ted Johnson have done me a great deal. FR550 in white with bluetooth, one was showing on the system, so i should have it before the end of the week.
Was really chuffed with the service, popped in on Sat morning, got a call back later that evening with a better offer and deal done lunch time today!
Now how do i explain it to the Mrs...?

How does the USB connection work. Obviously you can use a flash stick can you plug your Ipod in through it too?

The book tells you that it will take all kinds of Ipods, but it really only accepts Ipods of 20Gb and above. The other problem is that this size of Ipod, does not fit in the drawer, so you get all the cables hanging around your feet.

All my dealer would say is Sorry!!!

Have you used the correct adaptors?

My 30gb Video iPod fits perfectly

Where did you get the connectors from, i never got any with the FR550.

Virtually identical - I used my 4th Gen 20gb ipod with the sameadapter before I got my 30gb one.

I would go back to your dealer and demand the adaptors - they should come with the car if you have the iPod option

I have been into see them already and they took the car from me, gave me a courtesy car and told me to come back in 2 hours. They took the car to Checkpoint in Aberdeen to get the USB connector checked to see if it was working properly.
Thats when they told me it would only work with 20Gb and above and i would need to buy 1 of that size.

I think you're talking about different options, the I-Pod option comes with the different adaptors which will hold any I-Pod the USB doesn't have an I-Pod specific holder as its designed to take a variety of MP3s tec.

the usb will only wok certain ipods, i took my car back to the dealers when my nano wouldnt work, but kniow i have just bought a 4gb sandisk dongle thing for 14quid, and all my tunes are on it, and i dont have to woryy about wires, or leaving my ipod in the car, so i'm sorted know

i like the front grille, looks sweet on the white, may be tempted to get one.

Loving the FR in red with black wheels!
I think im going for the sideskirts and spoiler, plust swap the alloys for the BBS touring car ones.
Also seen the Brembo GT brake kit as well, 330mm disks, so tempted!

hi all.... i've just ordered a candy white leon fr 550 from the dealer, i just wanted to know if there is the specific number of 550 on each car, eg. #123 of 550? all help0 is appreciated. thanks

There is certainly no evidence of a numbering system on my car. It may be that there is a sequence in the chassis numbers but you would have to ask the dealer. I would doubt it though.
