We can offer you an uprated performance clutch for approx £600 fitted

Gonna get the map done and see how the standard clutch copes, see if i can get a bit of extra use out of it before upgrading, i don't do track days or traffic light launches, just after the extra power as its nice to know its there when you need it, i've got 4 licences to lose so don't drive like a 17 year old in a nova anymore

Had a Custom Custom Phase 1 on my Cupra TDI now for 9k and no clutch slip. Their is no problem booting it in any gear from what I have experience, the only issue occurs with the DMF if you boot it when the revs are to low. For example in 3rd gear its not a good idea to boot it below 2 k as the DMF vibrates like hell. You can still accelerate pretty quickly without an issue just don't floor it. Just make sure your in the right gear if playing around

MPG wise i'm hitting 48mpg from every tank with 15k on the clock. Seems to be creeping up all the time too.

Similar with mine on standard clutch with map to around 200hp and 321 lb ft.
No clutch slip at all but plenty of protest from the dmf at peak torque in 3rd especially 4th, so no full throttle below 2500rpm for me.
